Your Questions

Whenever you’ve logged in to manage your Esso Card™ account before, you would have accessed Esso Card Online (using the link EssoCardOnline.com). From 12:00 on Monday 27th November 2017, your account will have been upgraded to our advanced online management platform (Velocity). So, after that date and time, please go to www.VelocityWEX.com to manage your account online.

Velocity has a wide range of features and benefits that may not have been available to you on Esso Card Online. Some of the features include:

Optimised card controls
Order and block up to 20 cards at one time, instead of just one at a time.

Improved usability
With icons for each section of the site, so you can find the information you need quickly and easily.

Enhanced online invoicing
Including a summary and preview view for invoices, credit notes and payment advice.

A sophisticated reporting suite
Which enables you to schedule regular reports to your email address, view transactions in map view, and much more.

To log into Velocity, go to VelocityWEX.com and enter your new username and password.

You should receive a new username and password by email on Monday 27th November 2017. This email will be sent to you from support@wexuniversalfleetcards.com – please ensure that you check your spam folder if you haven’t received your new login details by Friday 24th November. If for some reason you still haven’t received the email, please contact us and we’ll provide you with your username and password reset information.

For multiple logins:

To start with, you will only have one login for Velocity. To create new account, simply log in to your new Velocity account and click on Settings, then General, then Manage Users, then Create a User and enter the additional user’s details. This will generate an activation email, sent to the new user’s email address that you have entered.

From Friday 24th November at 12:00:00 GMT, Esso Card Online will be offline and unavailable for use. Online account management is completely unavailable until Monday 27th November at 12:00:00 GMT. From then on, please log in to Velocity (VelocityWEX.com) with the information provided via email on Monday 13th November 2017.

During the change-over period, which extends from midday Friday 24th to midday Monday 27th November 2017, your online account will be completely unavailable. Therefore, we advise that you complete any routine activity on the old system (Esso Card Online) at some point on the Friday morning, and the new system (Velocity) on Monday afternoon.

As well as being unavailable online during this period of time, your account will also be inaccessible to our Customer Services team. Therefore, if you contact us with a request to change something on your account on the Friday afternoon or Monday morning, please be aware that there will be a delay in processing your request until your account has moved over to the new system. The change-over has been scheduled to take place over weekend to ensure minimal disruption to your business. Thank you for your patience during this time.

To access your invoices in Velocity, simply log in to VelocityWEX.com and enter the details provided to you in an email on Monday 27th November 2017. Then, click on the Invoices icon, select Invoices and search for a specific invoice (by amount, month, date range, invoice number or country). You can also select the option to view a list of all the invoices on your account, and locate a specific invoice that way.

Once you have selected a particular invoice, or payment advice, a preview of the document appears in your browser window. This gives you the opportunity to view the file without having to download it, which makes accessing and checking files much quicker. You can also download or print a copy by selecting the corresponding icon.

Currently, your invoices look like this:

From Monday 27th November onwards, your invoices will look like this:

After Monday 27th November 2017, invoices will be sent to the email address most recently used to login to your account. Alternatively, you can nominate an email address that you’d like to receive invoices to by emailing essocardcentre.uk@wexeuropeservices.com with the replacement address and your account number. In order to enhance your account security, these will now be sent to this email address only – not to multiple email addresses.

If you would still like invoices to be sent to multiple email addresses within your business, you could set up a forwarding ‘Rule’ in your inbox. For guidance on how to set this up, please consult your email provider or your IT department.

Set up email forwarding for Outlook

Set up email forwarding for Apple/iCloud mail

Invoices are currently sent from notify@essocardonline.com – once your account has been upgraded, invoices will be sent from eInvoice@wexeuropeservices.com instead.

Please add the new email address to your safe sender list to avoid any disruption.

Yes, your account will still be upgraded to Velocity. Please note that you will now be charged a fee if you are behind on any payments to us, from Monday 27th November 2017 onwards. This will be visible from your first invoice after that date. The fee amount is £20, per billing period that the balance is overdue. Please check the frequency of your invoices to find your billing period.

Velocity enables you to order up to 20 new cards at one time, instead of having to repeat the ordering process for every card individually (as previously on Esso Card Online).

To order multiple new cards, simply click on the Manage Cards icon, then Order Cards, then New Card. Then select the number of cards you would like to order in the drop-down menu, enter the driver details and hit the submit button at the bottom of the page.

If you would like to re-order an existing card, select the Manage Cards icon, then Order Cards, and choose the Existing Card option.

Velocity enables you to block up to 20 cards at one time, instead of having to repeat the ordering process for every card individually (on Esso Card Online).

To block multiple cards, simply click on Manage Cards , then Put Cards On Stop, then select the cards you would like to block by clicking on the corresponding tick box(es), then select the green tick button at the bottom of the page.

By upgrading our systems, we’re now able to renew cards that are due to expire automatically on your behalf. Any cards that have not been used for over 3 months will not be renewed automatically.

That means you can save time by no longer having to login and manually re-order cards. For auditing purposes, you can still login to your account and view a list of cards that will expire in the next 90 days. To do this, please select Manage Cards, then Card Expiry List.

There is a small change to card expiry dates. This change is designed to reduce your administration time, by extending the expiry period from 36 months to 48 months. By having a longer validity period, you will no longer need to renew cards as often.

You can now access a range of reports from Velocity, and schedule them to arrive by email on a regular basis. Some of the reports you can access include:

• The ability to view your transactions in map view
• Specific product use reports
• Card group and specific card reports, to help you track fuelling habits in certain departments, or for certain individuals

Would you like to receive the same report on a more regular basis? You can save report criteria in the Saved Reports section, so it can be accessed at a later date by you, or someone else in your organisation.

In your new Velocity account, please be aware that you can only access transaction information, reports and invoices from 6 months before Monday 27th November 12:00:00 GMT.

If you require any data or information from before then, please contact our customer service team using the details on the Contact page above.
