General Role Purpose:
As the Head of Product – Fuel Card Products, you will be responsible for the research, design and implementation of new products and services to add additional benefit to our new and existing customers through propositional enhancement to WEX in Europe.
You will build an innate understanding and appreciation of “the needs of the customer” and the ability to develop and deliver solutions from concept through to commercial success.
These elements are a critical part of the overall value proposition road map, which will be developed and delivered across our European businesses.
WEX already offers some elements of VAS including a Road Tolls solution, station finder to aid with fueling and a carbon offset programme to help customer comply with the corporate and social policies.
With a passion for identifying how to add value, you will be looking to use your collaborative skills across the business working with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, where you will work on a range of pan-European and localised products and propositions.
The development of components adding to our VAS offering which will improve our overall service provision which in turn enhances our Value Proposition will be key to this role. In an evolving and developing market, you will ensure that the VAS offering compliment and supports the core product of Fuel Cards and other supporting elements.
A key deliverable of the role is to also ensure that the new service provision achieves the business case projections by ensuring that there are robust go to market plans, which ensure success of each product launch.
