Systems Accountant

WEX Europe Services Ltd are the owner of the Esso Card™ fuel card portfolio, which is one of Europe’s largest providers of fuel cards. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Accountant. You will join our friendly Finance Team, based at our modern offices in Crewe.

Provide detailed functional support and analysis for all aspects of the Group Companies debt securitisation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Finance subject matter expert on project development

·        Work with other subject matter experts and solution developers to deliver projects on time

·        Co-ordinate and deliver testing to successful project completion

·        Training and delivery of projects into local teams ensuring successful adoption

·        Review current processes and practices identifying improvements and where necessary build the project specification and business case to support a change

·        Review and co-ordination of all Finance service request and incidents we service delivery team and local users

·        File reconciliations to ensure system reporting integrity

·        Development of data warehouse feeds and integration

·        Daily reconciliation of sales & cash to core systems

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

In order to complete the above job description, the following skills are likely to be required:

·        Part-Qualified CIMA graduate or equivalent (relevant experience will be considered)

·        Advanced skills within the Microsoft products including excellent Excel skills and Access experience

·        Capable of adapting to different software packages

·        Strong organisational skills

·        Superior problem solving skills & affinity for details

·        Ability to interface with all levels of management and staff

·        Strong time management skills
